We just love today’s feature submitted by Susan du Toit Photography. This Lowveld Bridal Safari styled shoot was a beautiful creative collaboration by a few amazing industry creatives. We asked them to tell us more about the shoot:
In the shadow of the majestic “Mariepskop” which forms part of the mighty Drakensberg mountains and approximately 60km from the Kruger National park’s Orpen gate, you will find Moholoholo – a unique Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre and home to many of South Africa’s abandoned, injured and poisoned wildlife. Moholoholo also offers Ya Mati, the ideal wedding venue catering for bigger and smaller wedding functions and a serene ceremony in its magical stone and thatch chapel.
In the Lowveld Acasia Woodland, you will find the textures that only the South African Bushveld can offer – water, mountains and savannah. The ideal setting for the bride to start the safari of her life time.
Draped in classic bridal satin the simplicity of her dress complements the natural beauty of the bride. She covers her shoulder with a fresh roses shawl – being the only rose amongst the veld filled with thorns. Her uncomplicated hair and makeup accentuates her natural beauty. She is part of nature awaiting a lifetime of memories.
• The Fresh Roses Shawl was handmade by Wedding and Event Collection for the bride, incorporating fresh roses, greenery and a soft mesh base.
• The classic satin dress with pocket details, was manufactured for the styled shoot by Lubellos Bridal
• The Lowveld is known for its destination weddings often hosted for our brides. The Bushveld is famous for its wildlife scenery that includes the Big 5 and game farms filled with wildlife and for that reason is a very popular destination wedding consideration for brides looking for that once in a lifetime venue for her wedding day.
