We would like to introduce Brooke Images and their amazing photography from the USA today. Their lovely couple Brooke & Matt got married at the Winter Park Farmer’s Market in Florida. The couple will is telling the story from proposal to the big day.
I Propose | Elaborate on how the two of you met
Matt & I were in San Francisco for vacation. We spent our entire first day walking through Golden Gate Park, and in the park we found a pretty and quiet area by a lake to rest briefly. I got up from a bench under a huge tree bench and said I was ready to go when Matt held my hand, and got down on one knee to propose! I immediately said “Are you serious!” (since he pulled a few pranks about this prior to the real proposal), and then yes! After a really good catch by Matt (he almost dropped the ring), he put the most gorgeous ring on my finger. The ring is particularly special because he had it custom made with diamonds from old rings in each of our families.
Matt & I spent a relaxing weekend in Orlando tasting lots of delicious potential wedding food! It was so much fun! We were making a decision on the caterers, and had two appointments in one day. I thought it would be a traditional one-bite/item tasting, but boy was I wrong! There was SO MUCH FOOD! The second caterer we visited even boxed up the remaining food for us to take back to the hotel. After the catering appointments, we still had one cake appointment to attend. Fortunately, we stayed in an awesome hotel that had a great bar & pool area to relax the rest of the time on our trip.
My Fair Wedding | Describe an event that you feel was unique
The Winter Park Farmer’s Market used to be an old train depot, and is still next to an active railroad line. Right as we were entering the reception and announced as husband & wife, a large train came speeding by with it’s whistle blowing. It was pretty dramatic. It was almost like the train was congratulating us, and many people at the reception got a kick out of it!

Once you make a decision, try your best to move on. I don’t regret any decisions, but there are so many options out there – don’t drive yourself crazy over-thinking anything!
