Like any true love story, Charlotte and Jeremy’s relationship began with a friendship which blossomed over time into something deeper. Sublime Xposure Photography shot the newlyweds on their honeymoon in Cape Town. The beach is always a romantic setting, perfect for an after shoot.
Lovebirds | How did you two meet?
We first met 7 years ago and were colleagues then. We kept in touch after Jeremy left the company and continued to be good friends, and eventually the friendship blossomed into something much more :)
I said Yes | How did the proposal go down?
We were on holiday in the Blue Mountains outside Sydney and had just settled into our cottage for the night. Jeremy presented a scrapbook of our time together and when he got to the end, asked if we could fill up the rest of the pages together. Then of course he got down on one knee and fished out the ring. All very cliche but it worked.
The Big Day | Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day?
We always wanted a big church wedding surrounded by family and friends which we did, but equally memorable was the photo shoot that we did on our honeymoon in Cape Town. It;s a beautiful place and our photographer Monica placed us immediately at ease and shot some great photos!
I Quote | Describe in one sentence your wedding day
In Love, With Love, For Love.
Forever & Always | Any advice for future brides
What they say about a wedding being a day whereas a marriage is a lifetime is very true. Remember not to sweat the small stuff on the wedding day and keep the big picture in mind.
