Today’s super cute picnic engagement shoot was submitted by Elri Photography. We asked the photographer to tell us a bit more:
“We went for a picnic styled photo shoot in Paradyskloof in Stellenbosch. Paradyskloof offers big beautiful trees that’s perfect for a quite and romantic picnic. We went with Pastel colours as I wanted the photo session to be natural and light. My favourite time for photographs is about 45min before the sunsets as it offers that warm romantic light thats suits for a Engagement photo shoot.”
The Couple | Tell us a bit about your couple?
Lané & Llewellyn seemed a bit nervous when we started with their photoshoot however after just a little time past, one can clearly see their natural chemistry showing on camera. They are comfortable and open too each other with playful mannerisms and gestures. I am so excited to photograph them on their wedding, I know it’s going to be beautiful and surrounded by so much love.
The Trends | What’s hot at the moment?
Styling up a photo session like I did is certainly a lot of fun. I think the use of fresh flowers always brightens up the pictures. In using props I feel that the persons I am photographing feels more at easy as the have some props to keep their mind of being photographed.
Simply You | One last word?
I am a natural light documentary photographer. I love the warm light that sunsets offer for photos. I also try and document people’s true emotions towards each other. It’s up to me to make the people I photograph be truly comfortable in front of my lens and bring out their true beauty. I aim to take a photograph that tells a 1000 words. Something truly special in the work I do..capturing moments and emotions and having that long after they have forgotten what that time in their lives where like.
