The wedding was at Kaleo Guest Farm in the Ceres Valley and is one of the most picturesque venues I’ve ever photographed a wedding at. The venue is surrounded by the most exquisite locations to shoot couple shots during golden hour. There’s a dam with a wall where the light catches the couple perfectly during golden hour. In December the onion fields are in full bloom, such a different place to shoot a bride and a groom!
Words form their florist: Such a pleasure to post these lovely images of one of my favourite weddings of last year. Although Daneel is as pretty as royalty she is equally humble and witty and it was such a pleasure to work with her.
The colour scheme was built up around deep, blood red garden roses, olive coloured berries with lots of dark greens, and touches of fuschia, blush and white. Deep purple tulips and maroon Cymbidium orchids added a bit of drama to an otherwise relaxed bouquet.
I have to agree, Daneel was such a relaxed bride and took the day in her stride, cracking jokes all the time. She has exquisite taste. It really was such a fun wedding to shoot.
Dress: Caro from C-Couture | Any other service providers: All the rest was done by the bride herself and family members.
