Today’s gorgeous wedding was captured by expert photographer Brett Florens. We absolutely love everything about this wedding, from the bride’s breathtaking gown to the decor with it’s geometric elements… feast your eyes on these magnificent pictures. Congratulations, Dane and Natasha!
Lovebirds | How did you two meet?
Dane and I actually met many years before we got together. Having mutual friends and hanging out at the same parties meant we bumped into each other often, however we were both always in other relationships. It wasn’t until 2012 when we were both finally single, the planets aligned one tonight when we were out on the town, we spent the evening on the dance floor with plenty of flirting from both parties, that’s when it all came together. The rest is history.
I said Yes | How did the proposal go down?
It all went down on a week night very unexpectedly, Dane had arranged a date night. While I was getting ready he was hanging around me and acting very strange, I started to get a suspicious. He then proceeded to put on various fancy dress items of ours and say “Baby, this would go so well with your outfit for the Durban July,” he did that a few times and i started to get annoyed. Finally, he did it one last time but this time I looked up and he had a box open with a ring in it asking me to marry him. I could not believe it! It was the best night of my life and needless to say we were late for dinner!
The Big Day | Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day?
It was such a special day and everything was amazing, we both loved every minute of it. Spending such an awesome day with close friends and family like that is indescribable! Our venue was beautiful, the food was amazing, the speeches were hilarious and the music was great! Most importantly I got to marry the man of my dreams.
I Quote | Describe in one sentence your wedding day
