Today we are featuring this gorgeous wedding by Organictales. The pair tied the knot at the beautiful Die Ou Kerk in Barrydale. We love the simplistic décor paired with the gorgeous fine details like the bridesmaid dresses in different shades of pink, the lights, and the vintage cutlery.

Lovebirds | How did you two meet?
We met 12 years ago through mutual friends. 3 years ago we looked at each other and just thought ‘why not’. Knowing each other for so long definitely made the relationship better and having our friendship as the foundation of our relationship makes us able to stay best friends and good partners to one another.
I said Yes | How did the proposal go down?
The proposal was out of this world. We started building our dream house and as it was only half way Attie knew how it was going to play off. It was early morning and Attie advice me to drive to the construction site. As I arrived I noticed Everlasting flowers swirling around in the wind and pictures of us on the, then cement, wall. As I walked around the corner Attie was already on his knee and emotions just took over. We watched the first sunrise from our new home that morning.
The Big Day | What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?
The ceremony was hands down the best moment. Seeing your partner for the first time and meeting each other at the altar is a feeling that will never be forgotten. Once the ceremony is over and you turn around as newly weds and your family and friends all witnessed it is also a wonderful feeling.
Describe your wedding day in one sentence
The best, first day of the rest of our lives.
Forever & Always | Any advice for future brides?
Your wedding day should be a reflection of you you and your partner is. It makes the planning also easier. Also, give small tasks to family members and friends. It is a big event and trying to do everything yourself is going to hard. The biggest advice is to enjoy everything. It is a big event that goes by in a blink of an eye.
